Our students will be tested on Argument and Opinion writing this Quarter. This week we offered a parent workshop to give information about what is required of our students at each grade level and how you can help students at home. Below you will find the power point presentation that was used during the Coffee with the Principal workshop. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more information.

Please note that there is a correction to our previous announcement regarding the Basketball fundraiser. You can present the Buffalo Wild Wings Team Card which is at the bottom of the attached flyer and our Cook Basketball team will receive 10% of all sales from now until March 3rd. The sales only apply to the Buffalo Wild Wings in the Otay Ranch Mall. Thanks for your support.

Yesterday our school held its annual Jump for Heart event to promote exercise as a way of having a healthy heart. Our Peace Patrol sold Heart Grams. Our school was able to collect $1093.00 to donate to the American Heart Association.
It’s not too late too donate. You can follow the guide below to donate to the American Heart Association.

Our District Spelling Bee was held at Hedenkamp Elementary. Special thanks to our Cook PTA for funding the event and Ms Collier and Ms. Dacumos for coordinating it. As you can see from the list of winners, Cook was well represented. Congratulations to all!
